Henchman Ships Drugs Using Akon’s Name – As Rosemond’s drug trial went on, several explosive details continued to emerge. One of the most astounding admissions was made by DEA lead agent Steven Miller, who said that a Compton drug dealer Rosemond met via Game sold him heavy amounts of cokebetween 2008 and 2009. Under his artist Akon’s name, Rosemond and drug dealer “Two T’s” would ship yayo to Atlanta to be distributed on the east coast.

“Omar Coming!” Has A New Ring To It – Actor Michael K. Williams, who famously portrayed morally conscious thug Omar Little on celebrated HBO crime drama The Wire, appeared in court on Monday (June 4) to show support for Rosemond. The pair grew up together in housing projects of East Flatbush, with Williams mentioning in an interview that he was also managed by Rosemond for a short while.

Journalist That Named Henchman In 1994 2Pac Shooting Removed From Trial – Former Los Angeles Times journalist Chuck Phillips was ousted from the Henchman drug trial after being named a witness, which the Pulitzer Prize winning writer says was a move by the mogul’s defense team to keep him out the court. Phillips, who famously penned an explosive Times article that alleged Rosemond carried out a hit on Tupac “2Pac” Shakur, had his piece retracted after FBI documents in the case were said to be forged.

Henchman Used Interscope Records Office And Rehearsal Spaces For Drug Transactions – Furthering his ties with Wyclef Jean, Rosemond told the feds last fall that he sold kilos of coke to the rapper’s driver. The first shipments of powder were sent to the offices of Interscope Records, with following deliveries going to rehearsal spaces in Los Angeles. The drugs were shipped in music cases, becoming a preferred method of delivering the product for Rosemond and his team.

Henchman Loaned Wyclef Jean $60,000 In Drug Money – Although Rosemond initially denied the extent of the drug conspiracy charges, he was chatty with prosecutors last October and dropped a huge bombshell. Rosemond told the feds he loaned international superstar Wyclef Jean 60 racks of drug cash, although he said Jean was unaware of the source of the money. Rosemond admitted to this act in early talks with prosecutors to strike a deal.

Henchman Sends Shipment Of Guns To Game – Under the Czar Entertainment umbrella, Rosemond managed Compton rapper Game. However, it seems that Rosemond put his artist at risk by sending crates of guns out to the west coast rhymer. In preliminary talks to snare a deal with the feds, Rosemond confessed that his operation was testing out their delivery operation with the shipment.

News Article Makes Henchman Insider Turn On His BossKhalil Abdullah, a high ranking member of the Henchman operation, testified in court that a 2010 New York Daily News piece convinced him that his boss had already gone to authorities and snitched about the illegal deals. In order to get the jump, Abdullah contacted the FBI and DEA along with New York officials to set up his associate.

Federal Agents Pressure Henchman Associate In Providing Court Statement – 25-year-old Jilliana Quinones, a former girlfriend of Rosemond’s, found herself in hot water in May 2011 after federal agents caught her with a large bag of cash she attempted to deliver to Los Angeles. Quinones claims the agents made her say that the money was derived from drug sales, although she said that Rosemond said the money came from legal means. Quinones gave the agents Rosemond’s cell phone number and other information which helped build the case.

Former Henchman Employee Said Rev. Al Sharpton And Mogul Were Close – A former employee of Rosemond, Tony Martin, testified a week ago today that his boss forged a strong relationship with activist and preacher Rev. Al Sharpton. After Rosemond’s son was roughed up by an associate of rappers 50 Cent and Tony Yayo, he reached out to Sharpton to help intervene. Rosemond allegedly began funding plans for an unnamed talk show featuring Sharpton as well as paying for expenses, plane trips and other items. With Martin facing 20 years and having made a deal with the feds, Rosemond’s defense claims him as a shaky witness.

Aftermath Entertainment Artist Slim Da Mobster Had Ties With Henchman – Agent Miller would continue to offer damaging testimony in the Rosemond case after revealing that a coke dealer that worked with Rosemond also sold drugs and guns to Dr. Dre protégé Slim Da Mobster, who is signed to the Aftermath imprint. Miller alleges that Slim sold Rosemond a gun in 2008, but that the pair isn’t friendly after the rapper allegedly stole $250,000 dollars from Rosemond’s brother.

Henchman Caught Delivering That White By DEA Agents – According to the case prosecutors have built against Jimmy Henchman, Rosemond was extremely hands on and handled much of the heavy lifting himself at times. With several Rosemond associates cooperating with investigators and, Rosemond was caught on tape making a cokeswap with an associate who was wearing a wire. Rosemond was tipped off that the associate was a federal plant and fled the area momentarily. Rosemond was eventually arrested after a long manhunt in June 2011.
