It’s no secret that President Obama is not a hero in the Republican circle, but the matter of his race is where America should draw the line. Yes, Obama is the country’s first Black president, and political pundits, conservative cartoonist, and all around racists, love to jump and attack his skin color. At this point there’s really no way that cartoonist can justify their racist views, and neither can the publications, and websites, who print them.

As we reported earlier, Col Allen top editor for the  New York Post was ordered by a federal judge to answer inquiries regarding a racist cartoon depicting the commander in chief as a monkey. While Allen may be the latest person called to the carpet over racism against the president, he’s certainly not the only one.

The New York Post printed this racist cartoon drawn by Sean Delonas in 2009.

Cartoonist AF Bronco drew this depiction of the President and Mrs. Obama for the Conservative Daily News in April.

This depiction of President Obama as a slave (and an Uncle Tom) was printed on the website Palestine Think Tank in 2010, and is the work of Brazilian cartoonist Carlos Latuff.

Political cartoonist Robert Ariel, likened the president to a suicide bomber for South Carolina’s The State newspaper in 2008.

Jerry Breen thought it was a good idea to make fun of President Obama’s bi-racial background in 2008, noting that “it’s impossible to make fun of Obama without being accused of racism.”

The Oklahoman made President Obama the focus of their racist and s-xist cartoon, depicting Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor as a  piñata in 2009.
