Nicole Young
Apparently Nicole Young's legal fees topped $4 million as her lawyer, Samantha Spector, was charging her $1,100 an hour
It seems one of Dr. Dre’s biggest projects is finally complete. His divorce to his long-time wife is finally complete.
The Dr. Dre divorce continues to get more complicated by the week. He is now asking a magistrate to verify if his marriage contract holds up in a court of law.
A leaked snippet played by a member of the AfterMath's production team featured bars from the legendary Compton producer that were aimed at his ex-wife and references his recent hospital stay.
As previously reported, the legendary producer and a mystery woman were spotted out together with many naming and congratulating Jones for the level up. After rumors, The ShadeRoom confirmed that the mystery woman was indeed the Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood star that was seen dining at BOA Steakhouse in Los Angeles with the super-producer, instantly sparking dating rumors. While the two acknowledged the paparazzi, Dre didn't respond to questions regarding the rumored new music before entering the restaurant.
Well, that was fast. Dr. Dre isn't letting his recent divorce from his estranged wife Nicole Young, and a brain aneurysm scare stop him from moving on to someone new.
While it may seem like Young is just looking for dirt on her soon to be ex-husband, the issue actually has monetary consequences should it be revealed that he was funding the lives of other women in his life.
According to The Daily Mail, new court documents state that Nicole Young has accused her estranged husband of holding a gun to her head, punching her in the face, and lifting her off of the ground by her neck.
Once again we are reminded that the pen is mightier than the sword in Hip-Hop. Dr. Dre’s wife might need to lower her expectations when it comes to their separation.
Dr. Dre's lawyers are getting some nice holiday gifts. A judge has nixed Nicole Young's request that the Compton producer pay her $1.5M for expenses that include security.
According to TMZ, Dr. Dre is calling the petitioned request for $2 million a month in spousal support "absurd", noting that the requested amount is unnecessary when is already currently footing the bill for her current lifestyle and their divorce; adding that, according to the legal documents, her lawyers have already made more money off the 2-month old divorce than most Los Angeles residents make in a year.
Looks like the legendary Hip-Hop icon might not survive the financial aftermath of this divorce proceedings. On the bright side (if there is one) Dr. Dre might actually hit the studio and create tons of new music to recoup the millions he stands to lose in the near future. Just sayin.'
