Ever since bursting on the scene with his club banger “Thotiana,” Blueface Bleedem seemed like he was well on his way to rap stardom but lately he’s been making more noise for his controversial circumstances as opposed to the cuts he’s cooking in the lab.
Today the Cash Money West rapper took to a trip to New York and crashed the cool kids table on The Breakfast Club to address some of the headlines he’s been making for the past few months. Answering questions from Angela Yee, DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God, Blueface gets into why he get into it with his mama and his sister, having two live-in girlfriends, and the reasoning behind his claim of being the best lyricist in the rap game.

1. Money & Blood
Without getting too much into detail, Blue says that the drama with his sister and his mama didn’t have anything to do with his girlfriends, but it started when his sister took time to get off the bumpy road in her life to visit him. “She going through her life situation. So she came down and I was gonna help her out, you know, get her back going. And then it got too, a little too advantage-y.”

2. Two’s Better Than One?
Blueface admits that he has two girlfriends but says that they were aware of the game he was running on them, but decided to make it work Three’s Company style for a minute. He says they’re done now and he’s with his babymama. Least he admits to being a “dirtbag” about the situation.

As for why he deaded his girlfriend, Blue says it happened after she gave “the wrong answer” when asked if she was with Blue for who he was or what he could provide. His baby mama said she was with him for him, not the fame. The girlfriend apparently said something completely different. While he admits she might’ve been joking it definitely rubbed him the wrong way. That being said Blue says he’s taking applications for his next second girlfriend.

4. Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems
While people might say Blueface changed since getting money, he says “I ain’t change at all” and that it’s the people around him that changed when he got paid. “I think everybody around me start doing things different. Maybe calling me more, maybe asking me this more… So now it’s forcing me to go this way more, go that way more. So it’s gonna seem like I changed but it’s really you starting to come on to me a little bit stronger.”

5. The Best… Of This Generation
Responding to the slander he got for stating he’s the “best lyricist” in the rap game, Blue states “A lot of these artists they not even rapping no more. They singing. Damn near an R&B show.” And while he feels he’s on J. Cole’s level of lyricism he says what he meant with his statement was he was the best of “my generation… I’m talking about anybody from 2016-17… that’s what I consider my generation.” Y’all think he has a point?

6. Caught A Break
According to Wack100, the case that Blueface caught for letting off on the highway has been reduced to a misdemeanor. Well, that’s good to know for the up and coming rap star.
