Lil Mo is one of the few stars from the late 90’s who’s gotten a second wind in this era of music thanks to reality TV and social media and now that she’s back in the limelight she’s been dealing with some situations that keep her name in other peoples mouths. Mouths that she will not hesitate getting into either.
Today (Jan. 23), the pint-sized singer and her husband, boxer Karl “Dynamite” Dragan checked into The Breakfast Club to talk about those situations and were unapologetic about how they felt and dealt with them. Talking about her so-called drama with Queen Naija, why she still co-signed Fabolous, and her thoughts about R. Kelly.
Here are the 9 things we learned from Lil Mo and Lil Mo’s Husband on The Breakfast Club.

1. Adrien Broner
According to Karl “Dynamite/Lil Mo’s Husband” Dragan, he feels that Adrien Broner didn’t lose his fight to Manny Pacquiao. He said the hits to the AB’s arms shouldn’t have counted and the fight should’ve been a draw. It should be noted that Karl and AB go way back so…

2. Couples Therapy
Lil Mo feels that everyone in a committed relationship should get couples therapy instead of posting everything on social media. Even her husband felt they didn’t need it at first and eventually felt that they probably needed it sooner than when they got it.

3. Third Marriage Goals
This is Lil Mo’s third marriage and she’s intent on making this one last because “My first marriage was six years. My second marriage was six years – I said I’m not gonna do six-six-six.” Her sixth year of this marriage is coming up. Pray for them, y’all.

4. Who Want It? Really, Who??
Karl says that even though he’s back in the boxing game and “errrrybody can get these hands,” he doesn’t even watch the sport anymore and doesn’t know who’s in his weight class these days to actually know who he wants to fight next.

5. Queen Naija
Speaking about Queen Naija, Lil Mo says she never said she couldn’t sing and didn’t even see her whole Soul Train performance. It wasn’t until Naija spoke sideways about Mo’s uncle John P. Kee (who’s suing Naija) that Mo felt a ways about how Queen Naija was moving in the game.

6. On The Defense
Lil Mo still has plans on becoming a lawyer and while people thought she was going to be an entertainment lawyer, she plans on becoming a defense attorney.

7. Fabolous
Lil Mo says that she sticks with Fabolous even throughout his domestic abuse allegations because he helped her achieve a few of her dreams and ultimately “honestly, it’s nobody business” what goes on in his house and his family depends on her.

8. R. Kelly
Mo says she never met R. Kelly and didn’t watch the docuseries. She feels that if they’re going to throw R. Kelly under the bus then they need to throw a few more dudes under there with them. She does feel the parents deserve some culpability because “you don’t just leave your kids with anybody because they’re a superstar. That’s outta pocket.” She also said feds showed up at a radio station she was at when she brought up the R. Kelly sex tape asking if she had the tape because being in possession of that is a federal offense.
Editor’s Note: It’s not going to go well for Mo after this.

9. Personal History
Growing up Mo herself was molested and later on in life the burden of that led her to become recluse and aside from not trusting men it had her addicted to drugs “real bad.”
