Kodak Black made news earlier this week when he walked out on an interview with Old Man Ebro for asking him a question he didn’t like, but that’s not to say the Florida rapper is done doing interviews in general.

Today the Heart Break rapper got back on that media horse and stopped by the original scene of the ski masked crime, The Breakfast Club. Sitting down with your favorite Hip-Hop morning trio, Black opened up about why he moved to California, his relationship with Master P, and paying child support.

Here are the 9 things we learned from Kodak Black on The Breakfast Club.

1. Goin’ Back To Cali

Kodak Black says he moved from Florida to Calabasas, California because “it’s positive. Ain’t too much Black people too.” But before you make it a racial thing, Kodak says “In Florida everywhere I go it’s people just like me… so if everybody packing iron I’ma have to pack iron. I’ma have to be on bullsh*t too. But in California, nobody ain’t wit that.” Yeah, that explanation ain’t help much, but ok.

2. Praying

Kodak says he doesn’t pray “but God is with me.” He adds when he does try to pray he doesn’t know how to but that God knows what he means.

3. Marriage

As far as marriage goes, Kodak says “I wanna get married in my twenties or I don’t wanna do it no more.” His reason for wanting to get hitched at such a young age? “Everybody got AIDS around here, dawg!”

4. Media Rounds

When asked why he decided to do interviews again after saying he was done with them, KB says that he wanted to show another side to himself and “my intellectuality and crystalize cause people be thinkin’ I’m stupid and sh*t. So lemme come chop it up and sh*t.”

5. Ebro Interview

Talking about that “f*ck ni**a” Old Man Ebro (was it that serious?), Black says that the interview was actually going “so good” and he was cool with it but he felt that “people don’t wanna see this happy Kodak” and wanted to end the interview on a “high” hood note apparently. He would’ve gone further but he would’ve “scared my money away again.”

6. Lucky Numbers

Even though he’s a successful rap artist, Kodak says he still plays the lottery. Can’t be mad at that. A dollar a dream can lead to all kinds of riches.

7. Master P

As for his relationship with Master P, Kodak Black says that “everybody be on some bullsh*t!” and later adding “How you gonna say ‘okay it ain’t about no money’ but then turn around and be on some money sh*t?” He also felt a ways about P saying he didn’t know nothing about the business.

8. School Drive

As for that back to school drive that Black was coming out of pocket for, he says that he found someone who would be willing to throw the event for less money than P’s peoples plus more activities and food. P apparently wasn’t with it and didn’t attend the drive. “F*ck, ni**a! I ain’t fittin’ let you get over me on ‘bout no back to school drive!” Eventually Master P did his drive but when Kodak tried to do his police shut it down. We don’t think P would sicc the po-po on Black for trying to help the kids, but it didn’t matter cause the judge had given KB the green light already.

9. Child Support

Even at this young age Kodak Black done found out that child support ain’t no joke as he’s getting hit up for $4200 a month. “I pay more child support than Rick Ross. I know he got more money than me!” Them the breaks, kid.
