West coast rap icon, Too Short, was arrested Thursday for driving under the influence. Short Dog was driving on a Las Vegas Street around 4 a.m. when police pulled him over. The 43-year old was charged with a DUI, exhibition of power and possession after police found less than an ounce of marijuana in his car. Nevada police report that he was previously arrested in the past three months for another D.U.I. charge.

When he’s not having run-ins with the law, Short is working alongside San Francisco Hip-Hop and sports enthusiast, Dale Tafoya, on a memoir. Titled, “Life Is Too Short: The Resilient Life of Todd Shaw,” the duo plan to take a look back on the MC’s 25 plus years in rap, documenting his journey through interviews with family members, bodyguards and friends. No release date has been set for the memoir as of yet.
