For the past few seasons Ray J’s been one of the most entertaining characters on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood but he really hit the zenith of his LHHH career when his beanie went Dr. Strange crazy on the latest episode.
Today (August 9) the man who made Kim Kardashian a household name (sorry Ye, it’s true) dropped by The Breakfast Club to address his unexpected social media challenge and Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.
Talking about the reason the hat went all Cloak of Levitation and whether or not he finally goes down on his wife, Ray J addresses everything asked of him from the morning trio.
Here are the 8 things we learned from Ray J on The Breakfast Club.
1. The Magical Hat
Ray says that he has a “stress spot” bald spot on the side of his head which is why he gets high and tight fades. That’s why his “magical” hat moved around so much on his dome because he was trying to hide that.
2. Franchise Player
Ray J admits that when he had to carry LHHH on his back he had to do “unnecessary things” and doesn’t like how his moral values came across to viewers.
3. Daddy’s Little Genius
Ray J’s one month old baby already says “I love you” and “Dad-e.” The heir to Ray J’s electronic company, Raycon, is ready to take over the business, b. That being said Ray says that he invested $2.5 mil of his own money into Raycon and actually gave away around 300 of his Scott-E bikes. Gotta spend money to make money.
4. Better Dayz
He says his marriage got “way better” after the birth of their child. He says his respect level for his wife went “beyond the roof” after Princess was in labor for almost 27 hours. Ray took that time to shoot a music video for his child.
5. Oral Exam
Regardless of what was said before, Ray says he eats the box but only when he’s asked to. “When she wants me too I will provide, you know what I’m saying? But right now our focus should be mainly on the baby and building her career, building her trust fund, making sure she get in the right kindergarten.” Sounds like he doesn’t like eating the box but interestingly enough Princess says she doesn’t like getting blessed anyway.
6. Yung Berg
Ray J won’t say whether he and Yung Berg are cool again but he says “I’m positive with everybody. I really don’t talk to anybody on the phone… It’s all love. I’m a parent now. I welcome everybody. I love everybody. It’s okay. Let’s forgive, forget, and love people.”
7. Whitney Houston
Ray J feels that Pusha T using Whitney Houston’s bathroom for his album cover was “uncalled for” and feels that Whitney’s legacy “can never be misrepresented” because “numbers don’t lie” and “music’ll live around forever.”
8. LHHNY?
Princess admits that she’d rather have their own show, but for now Ray J says he’ll be making his way to Love & Hip-Hop: New York. That magical beanie hat should’ve been the hint for that move.
