Last weekend Tekashi 6ix9ine almost became the second rapper this summer to lose his life to the street game when he was kidnapped, beaten and robbed for a quarter mil in ice.
Since then the outspoken Hip-Hop troll has been much more humble than his pre-kidnapping self but still continues to talk with the same arrogance that annoys his haters but made him a rap star. A few days ago the Brooklyn rapper had a lengthy interview with veteran Hip-Hop radio host Angie Martinez and didn’t hold back on his opinions of his rap peers and spoke about that now infamous night.
Opening up about his father being killed when he was a teenager to his static with Vic Mensa, Tekashi 6ix9ine had no qualms answering any questions he was asked.
Here are the 8 things we learned from Tekashi 6ix9ine on Angie Martinez.

1. Papa’z Song
Tekashi’s pop was shot and killed a block away from him when he was 13-years-old. Just minutes before he was murdered, Tekashi’s pop asked him to accompany him to the store, but Tekashi declined. Who knows how things would’ve unfolded had 6ix9ine went with him.
2. Rape Case
Tekashi again denies the rape allegation and said he only took the plea deal because he didn’t have any money to fight the case. He says that night he was just shooting a music video in a traphouse in Harlem with some dudes he randomly met. Somehow shorty got in the mix and he got bagged for her being underage.

3. Troll
Tekashi says that he’ll be done with rap once it feels like it’s become a job instead of it being fun. He also admits to being a Hip-Hop troll and does it because he’s a “goofy kid” and feels that people take life too seriously.
4. God’s Son
Regardless of how reckless and evil he may come across, 6ix9ine says he prays “a lot.” He said before he blew up he prayed everyday to God to “please change my life” because he couldn’t even afford his daughter’s diapers. Then “Gummo” blew up and the rest is controversial history.

5. Taken 6ix9ine
The night of the kidnapping, Tekashi said the thieves rammed into his car and after he saw a dude approaching the car with a gun he admits that he froze. After he got kidnapped he says he kind of blacked out. Even though he says no one knows where he lives, they knew and drove him to the crib to get the jewelry. That’s why he feels it was an inside job. He says it wasn’t until there was an argument in the car that he had an opening to jump out the car and break boogie on them.
6. KONY
Regardless of what happened and not having any actual rap bars, Tekashi still feels he’s the King of New York. He also says when he states that he’s the hottest rapper in New York he’s not trying to belittle Cardi B’s stature in the game.

7. Vic Mensa
As for Vic Mensa’s challenge to a fair one, Tekashi says he doesn’t want to talk about him because no one knows him and he doesn’t want to give him any shine. 6ix says he doesn’t even deserve to be called “Vic,” he says they call him “Victor.”

8. Rap Peers
6ix9ine says he knows of Nas but doesn’t know any Nas record because he’s not from that era. He also states that J. Cole “can’t f*ck with me.” Things like this is why older heads hate this kid, but that’s his game.
