Last night’s episode of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta opens up with Mimi linking up with Stevie J. Now remember Mimi doesn’t want to get involved in Stevie’s mess but for some reason, we are here. Mimi decides to talk to her daughter’s father about his current Danger Zone artist Estelita after her sit-down with bootleg Joseline.
Mimi feels bad for the “up and coming” artist after she poured her heart out to Mimi about her troubled past and what it took for her to get to the point she is at now. Is through this conversation that we learn Stevie made Estelita sign a five-year contract that doesn’t really benefit her but more so Stevie if she happens to bring in any money. Either Estelita never watched one single season of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta in her life or she’s just doesn’t care because nothing ever good comes from signing a multi-year contract with one Stevie J. Ask Joseline Hernandez she can speak on that easily.

Mona Scott Young loves to play games on these shows when it comes to the actual musical element. Erica Mena is really serious about this music thing and we wished she wasn’t at all. She links up with legendary producer Jazze Pha again for his R&B boot camp and is joined by Estelita and the new object of her thirst Tommie. This entire situation was a pure joke with, Jazze Pha sitting down while Estelita her struggle cakes, Erica are being put through some strenuous physical activities.

What threw LHHATL Twitter into a frenzy is when it was time for the ladies to sing with the vocal coach. For some reason, they had to keep reminding us about Erica’s struggle vocals from her previous stint on LHHNY. Nothing has changed since then because she still sounds terrible oh and Estelita too.
Tommie who conveniently showed up after the physical workouts sounded better than both of them though. That’s not saying much but she wasn’t even really trying though.

Sierra claims she is done with her husband Shooter and is working on the divorce plus she just found out he has a 2-year-old child with another woman who frequents her shop. But the death of her stepchild, Scooter’s 21-year-old son might bring them closer again and that might put a strain on her and Brasco’s budding relationship. The moment was aad indeed, no parent should have to bury their own child. Twitter felt for Scooter but they were also wondering why in the world would they film at a funeral to begin with.

Mimi’s new girlfriend Ty has no love for Melissa and it’s very obvious. The two bump heads in the episode but it also leads to some friction between Ty and Mimi. Ty wants to know if Mimi is happy as she says she is why does she need or want Melissa around as a friend? Ty concedes that she doesn’t have a problem but Mimi still does and storms off. Twitter is confused as to why Mimi was upset with her new boo in the first place?

Stevie J, for the most part, is serious about his label and his money. Rick Ross introduces Stevie to one of his artist a young lady by the name of Brittany who is really talented. Stevie wants some of her work ethic to rub off on his artist Estelita and invites her to the session. To Stevie’s surprise she shows up with her buddy Erica and things get heated quickly. Instead of taken in the wisdom, Estelita and Erica take Stevie working with Brittany as some sort of threat. Things get heated between Erica and Brittany and they start going at each other. Twittter loved Erica’s jokes towards Brittany but recognized she’s not as talented.
Well, it’s good to see Erica has her friend’s back.
