When Michael Blackson introduced himself to the world as a “bitch ass n*gga” in Next Friday almost two decades ago he had audiences on the floor rolling. But lately, he’s been upsetting some of his fans and fellow peers thanks to his clowning of one Kevin Hart.
Ever since he decided to make light of Kevin’s cheating scandal, many fans, peers, and Kevin himself took issue with the move.
Today the OG comedian checked into The Breakfast Club to talk about his transgressions and why he doesn’t think he violated any guy code. Talking to Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee, Blackson goes into why he did what he did, the whole Tyrese kidnapping situation, and why he said he wanted to fight Kevin Hart.

1. Clowning Kevin Hart
Michael says that he only clowned Kevin Hart because “That’s what Michael Blackson do. Michael Blackson makes fun of everybody. From Bill Cosby to Birdman, when he came here and tried to choke you, to Tyrese – and Tyrese was a n*gga that I didn’t know that well, and I clowned this n*gga to the fullest.” He also says that had Kevin never made a video in which he cried and “looked so stupid” he would’ve never made it so easy for Blackson.
2. Taking It Back
He says he and Kevin go back so far that he was going to do Next Friday, Kevin actually drove him to the airport. He admits that had Kevin called him after he posted that video mocking him, he would’ve taken it down, but Kevin never called.
3. Fight Club
The only reason he said he’d fight Kevin is because he saw a video of Kev boxing and thought he was sending Michael a message. Though he says he does want to fight him to get it over with he’s scared because “midgets hit hard.” Always the comedian. Michael’s also calling Kevin’s bluff and is calling for him to pay for his comedy special.
4. Living The Dream
Michael says that when he came to the US at 13-years-old his dream was to get a job at McDonalds so he could send $50 a month back to his family. He says everything he’s accomplished so far is a blessing.
5. Humble Beginnings
Blackson got his start in comedy after he got used to roasting his fellow students in school and a co-worker at Dominos Pizza told him he should take his act to an open mike comedy club.
6. Tyrese
That time the cops got involved with his Tyrese “kidnapping” situation is because when a friend texted him asking if it was real, Michael responded saying “Fuck you n*gga, this is Tyrese. This ain’t no game.” Naturally cops were called and things went haywire. He also said that Tyrese enjoyed Michael’s roasting on IG.
7. Rolls Royce
Michael’s ex Georgia Reign said that Michael was planning about buying a Rolls Royce, but when Kevin Hart said what he said about Michael, Blackson bought a $200,000 Rolls just to “sh*t” on Hart. She also claims that Mike got his freak on with a woman who’s sporting a beard.
