50 Cent’s once dimming star picked up tons of shine since Power blew up. Though he’s enjoyed considerable success on cable TV he’s once again ready to get back on the silver screen.
Today (Jan. 9), the G-Unit general (they still a clique?) and the starring cast of the upcoming film Den of Thieves dropped by The Breakfast Club for a quick pow-wow with the morning trio of Angela Yee, DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God.
Accompanied by O’Shea Jackson Jr. Gerald Butler, and Pablo Schreirber, 50 and them talk about preparing for their roles in the flick, OJJ’s history in cinema, and 50’s beef with Puff Daddy’s “fluffy” ways.

1. Role Preparation
Gerald Butler and ‘em hung out with actual cops and went on the road with them to get ready to play a crooked cop in Den of Thieves.
2. Student of The Game
Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr. got a Top 10 Performances at Sundance for his role in Ingrid Goes West. That being said OJJ revealed he went to college at USC for cinema and says he’s a “film student at heart.”

4. Puff’s “Fluff”
When 50 Cent makes gay references to Puff they’re not exactly tongue-in-cheek comments. “He says things and he doesn’t even know what he’s saying is like fruity” before remembering “He said something to me one time at Chris Lighty’s wedding a long time ago. At Chris Light’s wedding he told me he’d take me shopping. I looked at him like ‘What’d you just say?!’” Yeah that does seem a little suspect though 50 did take Ma$e on a shopping spree in his “Window Shopper” video. Just sayin’.
