Even though Cash Money blew up to epic proportions in the late 90’s, but it can be argued that Master P and his No Limit Soldiers paved the way for that kind of Southern success with their iced out tanks and Big Easy swag.
Today (Aug. 17), the Hip-Hop Triple-OG pulled up a seat to The Breakfast Club table and clarified a few things to the morning trio.
Speaking on his relationship to Kodak Black, why he’ll be selling his game instead of simply telling it, and the purpose behind his new basketball league, Master P still proves to be one of the few owls left in the game.
Here are the 8 things we learned from Master P on The Breakfast Club.

1. Kodak Black
Master P still feels that Kodak Black is a star but he got the wrong kind of people around him. He says he has a lot of love for him but people are taking advantage of him.
2. What Money?
P said he’s never seen Kodak’s contract and has never even got a penny from Black. He doesn’t even know where “his money come from.” P actually put up $45,000 for his and Kodak’s joint bookbag giveaway.
3. The Game’s To Be Sold, Not Told
Master P says he tried to help this generation and doesn’t charge other people for mentorship, but “now I will” because he doesn’t want “no more free headaches.”
4. Gucci Mane
P mentored Gucci Mane back in the day and seeing how he turned around his life made him “proud” of him.
5. Mixed Gender Basketball
Master P learned how to play basketball from his female cousin which inspired him to work on the Global Mix Gender Basketball League. Women from the WNBA will get their chance to play against the men from the NBA. Equal play and equal pay will also be the name of the game. He’s keeping the name of participators close to his chest for now.
6. No Limit Reunion
The No Limit Reunion isn’t done and they’re putting together tour dates as we speak.
7. Snoop Dogg
When Master P bailed Snoop Dogg out of Death Row and brought him into No Limit he told him “You not done.” He was right.
8. Consultation Fee
Master P paid $25,000 in the 90’s to talk to Michael Jackson’s attorney. Up to now P was willing to consult these youngn’s for free. Says it’ll cost them $100K from here on. You can thank the Kodak Black situation for his change of heart. P blames social media for pitting them against each other, but says he still got love for him.
