He expresses concern to Ghost about the impending war with the Jiminez and Toros Locos, while breeding mistrust in the primeras by not cosigning Tommy’s war order 100%. While Ghost meets with the Jiminez to trade their silence behind who really killed Lobos in exchange for the corners and ports Tommy demanded, Dre meets with the Jiminez to double-cross Tommy and guarantee he could end the war in their favor before it begins. Dre offers the Bassett hotels as covert drug locations and his loyalty. The Jiminez agrees to the terms of the deal, while expecting Dre to carry out his part of the deal or be killed swiftly.

Angela, Donovan and Saxe compare notes to determine whether Mike Sandoval could truly be the mole within the D.A.’s office, and Greg Knox’s murderer. Angela connected the burner phone Ghost used to the mole when her call from that phone was answered inside the D.A. building. Saxe is skeptical about the concrete evidence they have against Sandoval. To him, it’s pretty farfetched that a District Attorney would be the Lobos mole and kill another Federal agent without the right evidence. Donovan confirmed the Sandoval suspicion after his daughter told him about Sandoval’s visit to his apartment. They had to play it smart, otherwise Sandoval might get away and kill one of them in the process.

Saxe meets with Sandoval to inform him about Angela’s theory. To Angela, Mike Sandoval has to be the mole, and she was prepared to speak with Mak to present her case. Sandoval meets Angela at her apartment to discuss his “innocence” When Angela pulls out the receipts (redacting Greg’s phone records with the Federales, camera footage from Sanchez’s apartment, etc.) Sandoval confesses the murder then goes into kill mode to silence Angela and escape.

What Sandoval didn’t know was that Angela was wearing a wire and this was a sting operation. As the FBI rushes in to make the arrest, Sandoval threatens Angela with the information Lobos gave about her. Angela disconnects the wire and shoots Sandoval in self defense, then shows him the wire and advises him to cut a deal.

After the arrest, Sandoval requests immunity in exchange for his testimony, otherwise he’d claim influence by Lobos over his day-to-day activities, and have over 20 years of convictions disputed. Mak places Sandoval in protective custody while considering his offer. Angela, whose sought retribution for Greg’s death all season, told Terry Silver to let Proctor know about the Sandoval arrest. Angela did this, knowing that Proctor would tell Ghost and Tommy, and they’d have to devise a way to keep Sandoval quiet or their drug empire would be exposed to risk. Tommy made one call to his newfound father Tony Teresi to handle Sandoval, and Mike met his end in a clean and efficient way. Angela took satisfaction in Sandoval’s death, whispering “That was for Greg” over his body. Greg was vindicated and to Angela, her thirst for justice and revenge was quenched.

Tariq had his “scared straight” moment when setting up a robbery with Brains and witnessing a potential rape and murder. He ran far away and doesn’t look like he’s bout that life anymore. Maybe that boarding school is a better option than he thinks.

Ghost and Silver initially meet to discuss Proctor and whether he could potentially flip. Ghost also discover Tasha’s earring in Silver’s house. If Ghost makes the connection, Silver better transfer out of state.

Proctor kept the laptop, despite the threats and warnings from Ghost and Tommy. Is this insurance or blackmail?
