For the past few years, Big Sean has been one of Hip-Hop’s top rap artist. With his new album, I Decided, making the rounds and his relationship with Jhene Aiko still a hot topic in certain circles, Sean’s buzz is as steady as ever.
Today the Big D rapper braved the New York blizzard and dropped by The Breakfast Club to discuss the toll the passing of his grandmother had on him, Jhene Aiko, and his brand new Roc-A-Fella chain.
Here are the 10 things we learned from Big Sean on The Breakfast Club.

1. Suicide On The Mind
Big Sean says he has had suicidal thoughts, but falls short of saying he was going to do it.
2. Mama’s Boy
Big Sean lives with his mother. He has the basement while she has the big suite.
3. Jhene
Sean admits there’s always been feelings for Jhene Aiko. He’s also not “afraid of no confrontation” with Jhene’s ex-husband.

4. The Best Rapper
Big Sean feels that he’s the best rapper in the game. He says everyone who takes pride in their work should feel they’re the best at it.
5. Grandmama
He says his grandmother passing made him the man of the house as she was originally the man of the house. He admits to punching walls when she passed.
7. Eminem
When Sean got Em’s verse for “No Favors” he saw it could be a politically charged track and felt he had to rep harder for Flint, Michigan than he originally did so he changed a few bars.
8. Jay-Z
Jay-Z had the Rocafella chain made for Big Sean because he “earned it.” DJ Khaled originally had the last one made until now.
9. Robbers
The security cameras showed that the people who robbed his house were wearing night vision goggles and spray painted the camera lens. These dudes wasn’t playing.
10. Old Man Dollars
Big Sean felt disrespected when an old white dude was throwing money on stage while he was rapping saying, “I ain’t no stripper!” You can bet a struggle rapper would’ve been picking up that paper while performing. He didn’t stop till Big Sean cursed him out.
