Usher Raymond is one of a handful of music artists to have came up from the mid 90’s scene and is still finding himself relevant in today’s music scene. With his latest album Hard II Love out, the R&B OG is making his promotional rounds and today sits down with The Breakfast Club.

The ATL crooner who discovered Justin Bieber and has more platinum hits than your favorite new school singer may be under-appreciated by today’s audience but that isn’t deterring him from keeping it pushing and doing his thing.

Ur-sher conversed with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy about his latest hit, “No Limit,” being a veteran in the game, and getting ready for his role in Hands Of Stone.

1. Young OG

Though he’s an R&B OG veteran, Usher still feels 28-years-old when it comes time to bust a move.

2. No Secrets

He claims to be an open book when it comes to being in relationships. Ask away ladies but you may not like the answers.

3. Baller

Usher actually owns a little more than 1% of Cleveland Cavaliers and has been a partial owner for the past 11 years.

4. Sugar Diet

For his role as Sugar Ray Leonard in this years Hands Of Stone film, Usher actually trained like a boxer for an entire year.

5. The Breakdown

Years ago he says he had a mental and physical breakdown on stage in Berlin. The man’s been in the game since he was 14-years-old. It was bound to catch up to him.

6. Airing It Out

As composed as he is he did at one time call up radio personality Ms. Jones and cursed her out for reasons he – nor we – can remember. If you can then remind us in the comment section.

7. Strippers

Usher doesn’t have a problem with strippers because they have to do what they have to do to get by.

8. Bad Boy Gone Good?

He admits that he did make it difficult for a lot of women in his life. Good to see a man owning up to his mistakes as opposed to saying “She was crazy” when referring to his exes.

9. Being Black In America

He has no problem with the player protests going out right now in the NFL. He is in fact teaching his sons about the perils of growing up Black men in America and as a father is trying to guide them on the proper path with knowledge of self.

10. Come Clean

His advice for guys who have cheated on their wifeys is to tell their woman what happened and hope for the best if they want to move forward with the relationship. Shaggy would disagree.
