Yes, it hasn’t even been a year since Converse debuted the All-Star II. However, the Converse All Star Modern HTM unveiled today (June 6) ramps things up exponentially via luxury materials and advanced sneaker tech, too.
To bring you up to speed, “HTM” denotes the collab between fragment design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara, Nike Vice President of Creative Concepts Tinker Hatfield and NIKE, Inc. President & CEO Mark Parker. Hiroshi, Tinker, Matt…got it, good.
All there individuals getting together also means a combo of the latest tech that will be seen in more Nike kicks down the line, if not already. The new “Converse All Star Modern” boasts a slightly updated silhouette for the classic shoe and includes Nike Hyperfuse construction, Phylon outsoles, TPU-fused toecaps and a neoprene split tongue.
As for the HTM version, you get a goat leather upper, debossed All-Star ankle patch and a HTM logo on the heel pull tab— and the fact that the price hasn’t even been mentioned yet means you better be sure your bank account is on point if you want to cop.
The Converse All Star Modern HTM is available Thursday, June 9, exclusively at NikeLab stores and NikeLab.com while the Converse All Star Modern, which features circular knit uppers in Black, Action Red, Lucid Green, Soar Blue and White, will be available a week later on June 16 at Converse stores, Converse.com and select retailers.
