It was about a year ago when a seemingly perplexed journalist saluted North West for proudly rocking her “natural hair” , even though she’s just a toddler. Well in 2016, things have changed for 2-year-old Nori and in the interest of pushing the hair envelope Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s first born has a weave.
Kim Kardashian shared a video of her daughter via Snapchat. In all fairness, Nori doesn’t have extensions all over her head, just two neatly placed braids that now extend past her waist (also, Blue Ivy Carter wore a ponytail weave on Halloween and no one seemed to mind).
The Twitterverse clearly thinks Nori is a little too young for extensions, but at least she’s not alone with her new hair. Her 2-year-old cousin, Penelope Disick, got a braid weave too, as did aunt Khloe Kardashian.
