Though aesthetically different, Queens, NY collective World’s Fair embody an energy quite similar in principle to Atlanta’s Two-9. It is only natural that the crews, noticing their similarities, would collaborate for our listening pleasure.
Premiered by The FADER, World’s Fair and Two-9 find a collaborative groove on a pair of newly released tracks titled “Bout It” and “5 Mics.” Made over the course of a weekend, Nasty Nigel of World’s Fair spoke on the creation process.
“We bonded over local hood staples like American Deli and Zaxby’s while jumping in and out the booth recreating the moods and convos of our duration there in audible form,” Nigel told The FADER.
Fans can hear both tunes in Wired Tracks below.
