Ja Rule has enjoyed a nice comeback of sorts post his Murder Inc. Records days. He and his wife stopped by The Breakfast Club to discuss family life and more.
As Follow The Rules has essentially taken the slot left by Run’s House, Ja and his wife of 14 years continue to open their home to the world.
DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God got the couple to discuss their relationship, kids, love in Hip-Hop and more.

1. The Roc
Ja was offered a recording deal with Roc-A-Fella but turned it down in fear he would always be under Jay Z’s shadow.
2. John Singleton
John Singleton offered Ja Rule half a million dollars to star in a Fast & Furious installment but he turned it down.
3. Vin Diesel
Actually it was Vin Diesel who encouraged Ja not to do a Fast And The Furious installment.
4. Singing
While he thinks he does get his credit, Ja Rule doesn’t live on the fact he set a trend with the heavy singing on records.
5. Real Love
Ja admits he was a little wild but denies all that has been said about him by other women including Superhead.
6. Kids
They are very real with their kids. Aisha put her daughter on birth control in high school and Ja has frequent talks with their other kids about dating.
7. Music
In turn Ja’s kids keep him up on the emerging Rap artists.
8. Regrets
While there were moments he wished in retrospect that he could have been present for, he doesn’t regret being on the road. This provided for their kids to attend the finest schools and more.
9. Rocky Times
Aisha states that she had a great support system with her mother and his mother around to keep them together through the rocky times.
10. Album
Ja Rule is recording a new album but will only release it if he feels the material is classic. If not he will personally shelve it.
