UPDATE: BET Uncut is back.
Sorry to disappoint you, ladies and gents. BET Uncut music videos will not be resuming its X-rated programming anytime soon.
Despite earlier reports, BET.com shot down the words that flapped out of Pooch Hall’s mouth claiming that the popular late night show was returning to the network.
“Contrary to Hall’s quote on the Red Carpet and numerous reports from hip hop outlets, this is untrue. BET.com’s email to Black Sports Online was not returned,” BET said.
Although the show’s return would likely be well received (and criticized, resulting in even more ratings) it didn’t seem like a likely move from a network whose award show has garnered worldwide attention (and sponsors) in the past few years.
G-Unit Hosting BET Uncut Music Videos Circa 2004
Regardless, the recent resurgence of the show in our memories gives us reason to look back at the craziest and most seedy BET Uncut music videos that ever graced our eyeballs.
15. Preacha – “Shake That Sh*t”
Oh, we’re just getting started.
14. 5th Ward Boyz – “P.W.A.”
Rap-A-Lot threw a party in a residential neighborhood and the rest is BET Uncut history.
13. G-Nut – “Strip Club”
An audio manual on how to get your perve in a gentleman’s hangout spot.
12. The Firemen – “Azz Dance”
The lyrics and visual were pretty self-explanatory.
11. Mighty Casey – “White Girls”
The shameless ode to swirling didn’t go unnoticed. In 2004, this song appeared on the Wayans Brother’s White Chicks soundtrack for an even greater reach.
10. Horizon – “Take It Off”
A low-budget clip with even lower morals and standards.
9. Federation – “Donkey”
The Yay Area can get nasty with the best of ’em.
8. BlackMask – “Nasty Chic”
When making it cool to bring the freak out goes right.
7. Mr. Twip – “Ass Drop”
Direct inspiration to save money by bringing the strip club to you.
6. Ludacris ft. Shawnna & Lil Fate – “Pu**y Poppin'”
Surprisingly this is the only of the select BET Uncut music videos actually banned from the YouTube.
5. Natalac – “Pimp of the City”
If you look close enough, the thots in this clip damn near slip out their g-strings.
4. Mobb Deep ft. 50 Cent – “The Infamous”
Back when Queens met Queensbridge to strengthen G-Unit, they went directly for the explicit route to garner attention.
3. Wax-A-Million – “No Panties”
Coonery excellence at its finest.
2. Black Jesus – “What That Thang Smell Like”
The unofficial douche national anthem.
1. Nelly ft. St. Lunatics – “Tip Drill”
No surprises here. The credit card scene still haunts Nelly to this day amongst feminist groups.
