Troy Ave hit The Breakfast Club and answered to the slander he received when fans heard his latest album, Major Without A Deal, only moved 30 physical copies its first week out.
Nevertheless, the Brooklyn rapper hasn’t lost an ounce of his confidence and answered all questions; which including aiming some shots at Manolo Rose, fashion tips and why moving independent is keeping his paper up.

He sees when he sees Manolo Rose he’s going to slap him or give him a wedgie. Troy also said he used to sell Manolo and his crew cocaine. Let’s keep it on wax gentlemen.

“Hell No They Wasn’t Accurate”
Troy insisted the numbers weren’t accurate, and explained that the CD’s weren’t supposed to be sold until Tuesday, and the 30 physical albums sold were via a mom & pop store in The Bronx that jumped the gun.

“If I’m getting 95% of my bread… I made 120 bangs.” That’s $120K. Hey, being independent pays. Allegedly.
Mathematics
If I sell 100,000 records, I make more money than someone who went platinum. Also, Major Without A Deal was initially supposed to be a mixtape, White Christmas 3.
Joint Venture
Despite being indie, he still wants to go to a major label, just via a joint venture. At the end of the day he’ll be getting more money.
Krazy Slander
“I’m self made and self paid,” said Troy when asked if all the jokes and slander about his album sales bothered him. Even Kreayshawn’s tweet was nothing.
Humble Pie
Troy Ave says he deal in facts. And is unapologetic in saying Kendrick Lamar is a weirdo, but clarified that he never said he was wack.
Tight Pant Saver
What you have done to restore [NYC]? asked Charlamagne.
“I save a whole generation of people from being drug addicts and turning up and wearing tight pants and feeling like they can’t have hometown pride, that’s what I did,” said Troy. “I look and I sound like New York.”
No Beef
50 and Troy Ave made peace at a Chris Brown concert at the Barclays Center. Respect.

Troy Ave insisted that certain Nikes, like hi-top Air Force 1s or Jordans, can be worn with adidas gear. You need more people, fam.
