The XXL Freshman list has undoubtedly waned in popularity over the years, but nonetheless, it can’t hurt for an up-and-coming artist to be named as a next-generation superstar.
Although the year is half over, the 2015 XXL Freshman list has finally been revealed and it boasts of some familiar (almost too familiar) names.
Composing the 2015 XXL Freshman list is the “Trap Queen” king Fetty Wap; proven hitmaker K Camp; female rap savior Tink; West Coast lyrical #1 contender Vince Staples; Mr. Not-Afraid-To-Challenge-Beyoncé OG Maco; DC swag hounds Shy Glizzy and GoldLink; the infinitely talented Raury; the one and ONLY Def Loaf; and the purported fan-voted 10th Spot winner, Kidd Kidd.
We know what you’re thinking and we’ll be watching closely on social media to see if “the people” really voted the G-Unit veteran rapper into the fold.
