Ciara has had a bullseye on her for the last couple of years and Charlamagne has taken more than his fair amount of shots at her. She addressed this and more during her latest visit to The Breakfast Club.

After her 2013 release, Ciara, underperformed and a very public relationship with Future went awry, the Atlanta singer has been slandered relentlessly. Now as she reemerges to promote her newest endeavor, Jackie, she stands tall against her criticism.

Ironically her biggest critic Charlemagne Tha God was noticeably absent but DJ Envy and Angela Yee still took her to task with the questions on everyone’s mind.

So we present the top 10 things we learned from The Breakfast Club Ciara interview. We are interested to hear your thoughts on how she summarized her relationship with Future Hendrix; feel free to sound off below.

1. Family Life

Ciara doen’t have much interaction with Future other than dealings that involve her son.

2. The Album

Jackie is named after her mother who shares the same name. She felt the need to really express herself on this LP therefore the meaningful title selection.

3. Friends

Throughout the entire entertainment field she only considers LaLa Anthony and her make up artist Yolanda to be her close friends.

4. “I Bet”

While her single “I Bet” is an obvious jab at her ex Future, she stated that the song speaks for both men and women who have been through those difficult vulnerable moments.

5. Siblings

She encourages her son to hang out with his step brothers and sisters. Additionally she is still cool with one of the mothers.

6. Unbothered

After having her son her attention span to the hate is very small. She currently doesn’t feed into the slander which she admits is all due to being a new mother.

7. Rihanna

When asked what’s the status on her beef with Rihanna she said there is none. She wishes RiRi only the best and never understood how one comment lead to so much online beef.

8. The Body

Believe it or not, it took her a lot of hard work and sweat to get her body to the lean machine she is known for. She trained three times a day and hired a trainer that had a large enough gym to build an area for her son.

9. Television

She will be starring in an upcoming variety show called I Can Do That on NBC this summer.

10. Charlamagne

She really wanted to see Charlamagne in person but he was on the road. She hopes to get some face time with him so she can really understand why he has so much hate for her.
