Even if you aren’t a wrestling fan, seeing LL Cool J open WWE Wrestlemania 31 had to be a highlight. He’s been putting out platinum albums since Hulk Hogan was body slamming Andre The Giant.

Obviously the over the top nature of music and reality TV make some people natural wrestling fans. But there have been a ton of surprises in the form of these 13 unlikely celebrity WWE stans that genuinely surprised us.

Wale

Things got so real when Wale was at a Monday Night Raw match in 2014 that he had to put hands on a trolling fan. Security came through before things got too wild.

Snoop Dogg

Dropping bows on Axelmania while decked out in his shades and a blue, paisley print top should go down as one of the great moments in Snoop Dogg’s non-rap career.

Wiz Khalifa

His tatts, dreads, and the infamous bird chest were on display when Wiz Khalifa rocked out during a Monday Night Raw performance on March 9, 2015.

Al Sharpton

The best thing about Al Sharpton being down with WWE Nation is if someone gets injured they’ll have a quick trip to the hospital. Sharpton has plenty of experience with shakedowns and ambulance chasing.

Diddy

Sean Combs isn’t a wrestling fan, but he is a money fan. And if introducing MGK’s performance is gonna add to the fortune, you know Puff is there. All shade aside, Puff nobly performed for the troops in 2009 as a member of Diddy-Dirty Money.

LL Cool J

Once you take down Kool Moe Dee, MC Hammer, and Canibus, can you really be scared of a pro wrestler?

Shaquille O’Neal

The Big Show tried to do what Patrick Ewing, David Robinson, and Arvydas Sabonis couldn’t do. When it comes to taming Shaq, maybe he should’ve consulted Hakeem Olajuwon.

Maria Menounos

Maria and her glorious hindquarters could read the phonebook, and we’d be down. The fact she does a Dusty Rhodes impression is just a great bonus.

Robinson Cano

Back when he was still a Yankee, it only made sense. The Bronx Bombers needed that youthful market share, and we later found out A-Rod was macking Torrie Wilson. That’s how you get A-Rod, Robinson Cano, and Eduardo Nunez at Wrestlemania.

Warren Sapp

Warren Sapp

Given his flair for the dramatic and pummeling grown men into the turf, it wasn’t a surprise to see Hall of Famer Warren Sapp At Wrestlemania XXVIII.

Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas

Chilli

We know…you too are secretly praying Chilli will throw on some skimpy spandex and drop the type of elbows only previously seen in Atlanta’s clubs. But nope. Chilli’s son Tron is a WWE fan, and they’ve been known to hit a match or two.

Timbaland

In terms of cross promotion, Timbo getting the WWE Divas to appear in 2009’s “Throw It On Me” was a stroke of marketing genius. It was only right for Thomas Crown to get a look on an episode of Monday Night Raw.

Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler

If his wardrobe and general demeanor aren’t a dead giveaway, Adam Sandler’s ringside presence should let you know he’s down with the WWE. From cameo appearances and more, he’s a fan.
