Just because they occasionally talk about or sponsor liquor doesn’t mean these celebrities consume alcohol. Is it a contradiction? Maybe, but if the old adage about not getting high off your own supply applies to drinking, then it’s just good business.

These 13 celebrities who permanently turn down may be shunning the bottle for religious reasons, a matter of personal preference, or just because they can’t handle the drink. Either way, hit the jump and see who turns up on the list of stars who prefer to turn down.

Slim Shady came on the scene popping pills drinking and generally turning up. It’s no coincidence he rocks an iced-out triangle pendant inside a circle on his chain. On his 2009 album Recovery, Eminem talked about going through rehab and abandoning pills and other drugs.

While he hawked Sizzurp at one time, Cam says he stopped drinking alcohol in 2000 after a long bout with both a hernia and an ulcer.

Think nothing of the fact 50 Cent appeared on Chief Keef’s “Hate Being Sober.” Seeing family member’s struggles with drug abuse was enough to convince 50 he didn’t want any part of that life, and he says he’s only been drunk a handful of times. In November of 2011, Fif told Piers Morgan he had an alcohol-related experience that made him paranoid.

After some well-documented incidents with the bottle, Royce stopped drinking in September of 2012. On Slaughterhouse single “Remember The Titans,” Royce joked, “The drunk me can box like the sober you / The sober me be more nervous than Waka Flocka in the voting booth.”
