South African rapper Flabba (born Nkululeko Habedi) was allegedly murdered by one of the people most close to him.
His own girlfriend.
According to Bella Ninja, police released a statement about Flabba’s death, sharing some details they know at this time.
“Flabba who gained fame when he joined the famous Skwatta Kamp was allegedly murdered at 2 am on 9 March in Alexandra township in Johannesburg. The stabbing took place in Flabba’s room, he was stabbed in the heart once. His brother, Tshepang said he watched him die. His cousin, Luyanda Habedi said he had tried to resuscitate him by doing CPR and attempted to stop blood which flowed from the wound. An argument took place between Flabba and his girlfriend before his death. His close friend, Nkululeko says they did not expect it to escalate to a physical altercation.”
“It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the saddest news this morning that one of my brothers, Flabba, has passed away. May his soul RIP, he will never be forgotten. Gone too soon with so much potential still. Will always love him. Life is a precious gift and he lived every breath with a full heart.”
According to BBC, the South African rapper was once a key member of the award-winning rap group Skwatta Kamp in the 1990s.
