Kobe Bryant’s marital infidelity has been revealed to be more costly than a potential divorce settlement or enormous “I’m sorry” diamond ring he once bought his wife, Vanessa.
The aging NBA legend recently opened up about his infamous rape case in 2004, where he was cleared of all charges after the accuser refused to testify in open court. Apparently, all the stress took its toll on Mrs. Bryant and she lost the couple’s second baby as a result.
During a recently aired documentary on Showtime titled Kobe Bryant’s Muse, the tragic revelation was made.
“We were expecting…and um…,” Bryant began, trying to calculate his words through intense emotion. “[We were] expecting our second child during that time…and there was just so much stress, she actually, she actually miscarried.”
Bryant continues adding, “It’s something I have a real hard time dealing with that ’cause I felt like it was just my fault. The reality is it happened because of me … that’s something I have to deal with. Something I gotta carry forever.”
