Kanye West made his first appearance on the Brit Awards since 2006 today (though it’s technically night across the pond). There, in typical Ye fashion, he gave an exuberant performance of his new single “All Day.”
The entire scene was reminiscent of Mad Max Beyond The Thunderdome, as West, who, clad in black clothing, was backed by a stage full of men garbed in similar attire. There was fire, too, because every good performance needs fire.
Rising Minnesota singer-rapper Allan Kingdom won big, as he and Theophilus London were revealed to be guests on the record. But it appears many of those playing the background on stage are members of the UK’s Grime scene, which, through artists like A$AP Mob, London, and now West, are becoming increasingly familiar faces stateside.

Allan Kingdom
Hailing from St. Paul, Minn., it was only a matter of time before Kingdom, a talented rapper, writer, etc. got on. His Future Memoirs project bangs, too.
Theophilus London
Brooklyn’s own Theophilus was there, too.
Vic Mensa
It appears that West has been working with more newcomers and rising artists this time around. Mensa was featured on “Wolves.”
Skepta
Accomplished in the Grime scene, Skepta’s music has influenced a bevy of U.S. rap artists. No, your favorite rapper isn’t worldly, per se; he’s influenced.
Stormzy
At only 21-years-old, Stormzy, a Grime artist and MC, broke through the cracks with his Dreamers Disease EP.
Novelist
Eleven hours ago, Novelist tweeted, “Man who didn’t wanna know Novelist in 2013 wanna know Novelist in 2015.” We say that’s a fair assumption. Not to mention that he’s on the stellar XL Recordings roster.

Krept
One-half of the duo Krept and Konan represented his Play Dirty Records crew hard alongside Yeezy.

Konan
Konan was there, too, making the Krept and Konan cypher complete.
Jammer
Just look up Lord of the Mics, and all shall be understood.
Virgil Abloh
Virgil in the cut. That’s a scary sight.
