Unsurprisingly, the airing of Oprah’s OWN documentary Light Girls resulted in the usual Twitter sh*tstorm.
From putting the blame on dark women to presenting men who claim to prefer light skinned partners, #LightGirls spurred Twitter to react in applause, outrage or just plain confusion over the attempted coverage of the touchy topic.
