If you’re over the age of seven, the closest you’ll probably get to a Christmas miracle is some extra money in the form of a bonus or being able to reconnect with some distant relatives.
But for the people who have it all or are just die-hard Hip-Hop heads that could care less about Holidays, there’s always the wish of Rap groups we’d like to magically reunite. Hit the jump to take a stroll down memory lane, and if you don’t see your favorite group, weigh in with some personal picks.

The Fugees
Given the sordid history between Wyclef and Lauryn Hill, this is wishful thinking. But still…
Hot Boys
With Wayne tweeting about leaving YMCMB and B.G. in prison, it would take a miracle to get this awesome foursome (and Manny Fresh) back together.
Gang Starr
Rest in peace, GURU.
The Beastie Boys
With the untimely passing of Adam “MCA” Yauch, it was only right to end the historic run of The Beastie Boys with the legacy intact.
N.W.A
Dre’s a billionaire and Ice Cube is indeed the Don Mega, but it would be nice to still have Eazy-E around to reform the world’s most dangerous group.
Eric B. & Rakim
Even with a Hip Hop Honors tribute on deck, it was pretty much impossible to get these two on stage together.
Junior M.A.F.I.A.
They weren’t one of the greatest crews, but you have to think Biggie would want Lil’ Kim and Lil Cease burying the hatchet and breaking bread together.
Leaders of the New School
For all his individual accomplishments, there was something special about seeing Busta Rhymes next to Dinco D, Charlie Brown and Cut Monitor Milo.
Little Brother
Thank the Hip-Hop gods that 9th Wonder and Phonte still make tracks. Rapper Big Pooh hasn’t joined in on the recent fun, but that would be a true LB reunion.
Black Star
Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey still reconnect, but the stars just haven’t aligned to give everyone that Black Star album they’ve been hoping for.
Onyx
An amicable split with Sonny Seeza and the unfortunate death of Big DS has Onyx down to a dynamic duo. Wouldn’t you like to slam with the original crew though?
Pharcyde
Perhaps we shouldn’t be greedy since we got the original members reunited for Rock The Bells in 2008.
Run-D.M.C.
The passing of Jam Master Jay effectively ended Run-D.M.C., but this Queens trio gave us all some moments and took Hip-Hop to unheralded heights.
Three 6 Mafia
Juicy J’s solo success and subsequent moves with Taylor Gang don’t provide much of a reason to reunite with Three 6 Mafia for anything other than sentimental reasons. And without he late Lord Infamous, we couldn’t get a true reunion anyway.
A Tribe Called Quest
Q-Tip said their appearance on Kanye West’s Yeezus Tour was the final act for A Tribe Called Quest, but we’re holding out hope.
