Whether he is on your radar or not, B.o.B. has shown that he is not a one trick pony. The Atlanta artist sat down with The Breakfast Club to discuss this and more.
While his Grand Hustle colleagues Iggy Azalea and T.I. have enjoyed success in 2014, Bobby Ray has yet to match the momentum of his “Nothin’ on You” days of 2010.
DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God took him to task and the result was a very telling interview of where he plans to go with his art.
So we present the top 9 things we learned from The Breakfast Club B.o.B. interview. Is the “new black” theory Hip-Hop’s answer to Scientology? Let us know in the comments section.

1. Falling Off
While Charlamagne insinuated that B.o.B. is falling off, the “Strange Clouds” rapper retorted that he has had platinum and gold singles on all his albums thus far.
2. The Adventure Continues
He also said that this new project musically is the big brother to his debut album Adventures of Bobby Ray.
3. New Black?
B.o.B. designates the title of being a new Black as one who wants to point to a solution versus playing the victim.
4. The Creative Process
B.o.B. mentioned that he is not stifled by his record label in making music they think would be best received commercially. He makes the music first and opens it up for critique.
5. T.I.
His relationship with Tip remains solid and their album might just see the light of day soon.
6. Groupie Love
Don’t believe all the rumors you read on Bobby smashing random chicks at the club. He has gotten way more selective in terms of the women he spends his time with versus the old Bob who wasn’t as choosey.
7. Iggy
He is happy for Iggy’s success as he as seen her grind and develop her sound since she originally touched down in the states.
8. Wayne
B.o.B. says he has a very unique feature from Lil’ Wayne on his forthcoming album. So unique he said we haven’t heard Wayne rap like this in a very long time.
9. White Takeover?
B.o.B. doesn’t feel there is a white agenda to dominate Hip-Hop culture but moreso a centralization of power that as an artist you don’t want to be at odds with.
