Nothing like a little jail time to close the year out on a pensive note. There’s a strong chance that Xzibit isn’t feeling too great about his decision to drive drunk after his wedding, which led to his post-nuptial arrest over the weekend.

There is good news though:  he’s not alone. A lot of celebrities got popped this year, either for DUI, or other bad behavior.

Since this is the last month of the year Hip-Hop Wired wanted to get a head start on tallying the rappers and singers who found themselves in police custody in 2014.

'Think Like A Man Too' Los Angeles premiere

Tank

R&B singer Tank was arrested in October because he was caught driving and talking on his cell phone, and refused to hand the device over to police . He was released later in the day.

Ray J

Ray J’s arrest went down at a hotel bar in May after he (allegedly) touched a woman inappropriately, and spit at cops. He was busted for resisting arrest and battery on a police officer.

Young Jeezy

The year brought about two arrests for Young Jeezy. He was popped in January for false imprisonment and making terrorist threats (against his son), and again in August after a weapon was found on his tour bus. Jeezy denied that he hurt his son, and was cleared of the gun charge.

Rick Ross

Authorities busted Rick Ross on an outstanding warrant in June. Rozay was in North Carolina at the time.

Wiz Khalifa

Wiz was arrested for (what else) marijuana possession in May. He tweeted a selfie from jail.

Waka Flocka Flame

Waka Flocka Flame was arrested for gun possession in October. His wife says that he forget that he was carrying a firearm into Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport.

Bobby Shmurda

“Hot N*gga” rapper Bobby Shmurda copped a gun possession arrest in June, although the story didn’t come out until two months later.

Yung Berg

Former Love & Hip Hop Hollywood cast member Yung Burg was arrested for assaulting girlfriend Masika Tucker last month. The couple got into a fight after Berg’s credit card was declined at a spot in New York City.

Joe Budden

Joe Budden’s arrest came after a game of Twitter cat and mouse with the NYPD. Budden was busted for jacking his girlfriend’s cell phone, which he denied. The New Jersey rapper is planing on suing the NYPD for defaming him on social media.

D’Roc of the Ying Yang twins was arrested for driving under the influence, while his children were in the car.

Sarah Stokes

Ex reality star and singer, Sarah Stokes, was arrested in August for stabbing her husband. He filed for divorce two days later.

 

Chief Keef

Your friend Chief Keef was arrested for DUI after he got out of rehab in March. Nice work son.

Producer/singer The Dream was arrested on suspicion of attacking his baby’s mother while she was pregnant. He denies her story.

Keyshia Cole

Birdman (yes, Birdman) is the reason why Keyshia Cole was arrested on suspicion of battery in September. Cole busted in on the Cash Money mogul with another woman, and proceeded to attack. The other woman (she says she’s just a friend, by the way) is now suing.

Lil Durk

Chicago’s own Lil Durk has had his share of trouble over guns. His most recent arrest was in November for unlawful use of a weapon by a convicted felon.

Tyler the Creator

Odd Future’s ring leader, Tyler the Creator, was arrested for inciting a riot at SXSW.

It feels like a lifetime ago, but it was only January when Justin Bieber was arrested for DUI in Miami, triggering an onslaught of other arrests and legal troubles.

Trick Daddy

This past April, Trick Daddy was arrested for weapons and coke possession.

James Debarge

Janet Jackson’s ex hubby, James Debarge was arrested on suspicion of drug possession in April. Debarge has had a long battle with addiction.

Booted Destiny’s Child member Farrah Franklin was arrested for disorderly conduct after she left a Southern California bar over the summer.

 

Russell Neal

Russell Neal’s arrest is much more serious than the aforementioned singers and rappers on the list. The former member of the ’90s R&B group Hi-Five was arrested for his wife’s murder in July.
