Reverend Al Sharpton was featured in a New York Daily News article October 28, but not for the usual reasons. He was touting his 175-pound weight loss since he rock bottom by topping out at 305 pounds back in 2000.
Aside from his signature, permed hair, it’s hard to recognize Sharpton. He credits family and health for motivating him, but other stars have shed weight for vanity’s sake or as part of emotional healing. Take a look at those who turned back the scale with these 15 shocking celebrity slim downs.
Jennifer Hudson is another Weight Watchers alum. In March of 2014 she waved goodbye to a total of 80 excess pounds as well as her sponsorship with the well-known diet company.
