Birdman, Lil Wayne and company have returned with their latest product, Rich Gang. This time around the label’s co-founder is joined by Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug on Tha Tour Part 1.

This could be a case of the guys at YMCMB adding another chapter to their rich history, or a hot mess waiting to happen. There is actually a precedent for the latter.

Feast upon 10 times Cash Money offered us a few laughs at their expense. Remember, it’s all in good fun.

Back in February, 2010, Birdman told reporters his next venture was going to be an oil company. He tattooed an oilrig on the side of his head, but there are still no reports of this rumored black gold.

Sadly this so-called marriage between Drake and Nicki Minaj was fake, as Drake remains in Nicki Minaj’s “friend zone.”

Let us flash back to 2006 when Lil Wayne told Complex magazine he was better than Jay Z. How did that work out again?

Few things are as embarrassing as taking a government-sponsored vacation to Riker’s Island. Wayne took a sabbatical for a skid bid in 2010.

Next time you get angry because the OG Hot Boyz are no more, remember that they signed Paris Hilton to a deal. Yes, that Paris Hilton.

Tyga

Tyga and Bangladesh are just two of the artists who have been forced to go to court to get what Cash Money (coincidental name, right?) owed them.

Young Buck

At one point, Young Buck languished on the Cash Money sidelines. Then 50 Cent came to the rescue, and the rest is G-Unit history.

How do you reward the group that put your company on the map? How about allegedly lowball contracts and letting the Hot Boyz (along with producer Mannie Fresh) walk?

Did anyone really think Young Thug would have something meaningful to say about Michael Brown’s killing?

The smooch that set the Internet on fire was reportedly a regular occurrence during Cash Money’s heyday. Pause?
