With all the money and connections rappers have at their disposal, they still can’t manage to keep a lock on their social media accounts. So they say.
Getting hacked is either extremely easy, or it’s just an easy excuse. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, all those social media forums are apparently easy picking for Internet pirates.
Ironically enough, rappers never get hacked for anything super serious. The stories always tend to involve marginally controversial comments, putting someone’s sexuality on blast, manufactured beef, or maybe freaky flicks. Perhaps the same pack of hackers are going around hitting everybody up.

40 Glocc
40 Glocc said he got hacked after a mysterious posts about Game’s ex, and children, ended up on his Instagram account. Apparently 40 draws the line at family matters. Believe it?
Game
Game’s Twitter got hacked a few years back when someone sent out a series of tweets blasting Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, 50 Cent, DJ Khaled and Lloyd Banks, and a tweet claiming the Compton rapper was gay.
Ja Rule
In 2010, Ja Rule’s twitter got hacked to include a bunch of shady tweets directed at 50 Cent.
Gucci Mane
Lest we forget Gucci’s epic Twitter tirade of 2013? He lashed out at Nicki Minaj, Waka, Drake, and everybody else. Gucci claimed his old manager Coach K was behind it all.
Shad Moss (Bow Wow)
Back when he was still Bow Wow, a college student allegedly hacked Shad Moss’s account and posted an alleged picture of him in bed with another man. The culprit claims that hacking story was a lie.
Lil B
Lil B’s Twitter hacking included a rape threat to Kanye West and some hate towards comedian Lil Duval. We’re guessing that a hacker was on the job.
Kraeyshawn
A bunch of racist posts from Kraeyshawn’s Twitter page two years ago was the result of a hacker, according the “Gucci Gucci” rapper.
Chief Keef
After aspiring rapper JoJo “Lil JoJo” Coleman Chief Keef seemingly tweeted “LOL” and other disrespectful comments about the teen’s slaying. He later said he was hacked.
Soulja Boy
Soulja Boy has been hacked all over the social media map. Racist and homophobic comments on his Facebook page in 2011 was the work of a hacker, as was the case in a year later.
Wale
Folarin’s Twitter hacking went down in 2011. The Twitter pirate basically went in on Lady Gaga, Kid Cudi, and more. His YouTube page also got hacked once.
Havoc
After a nudey flicks of Havoc went up online, the Mobb Deep member claimed he was hacked. Here’s hoping that’s true.
