Sometimes comedians take their humor too far. Most recently Joan Rivers came under fire for calling Barack Obama the first gay President of the United States. But this is not the first time jokes have gotten people in trouble.
While in theory no race, color, creed or public figure is never excused from being the focus of satire, there have been times where your favorite comic just went off the handle in poor taste.
The results usually costs them dearly in sponsorships, touring, acting roles, and more. Sometimes their career never really recovers.
So in tribute to the queen of mean’s recent comments about the POTUS, we present 10 comedians who had to apologize for their jokes. Let us know who you thought dropped the ball the worst in the comments section.
