Now that Dr. Dre has occupied Tom Brady and Giselle Bündchen’s Brentwood, California mansion, his former living quarters have been put on the market for the taking. Au contraire to what you may be thinking, The Good Doctor wasn’t holed up in some sugar shack waiting for his new gig at Apple to move him up to the big leagues.
Dre, real name Andre R. Young for listing and trustee purposes, purchased the home in December of 2011 for $15.4 million and has done wonders with its overall value during his brief stay there. The pad spans across 9,696-square-feet and features an infinity edge pool (think Singapore), 6 bedrooms, 9 baths, a library and media den, a guest house (think the Fresh Prince), and a wine cellar.
For the measly asking price of $35 million, it could be all yours if you’re not a struggle rapper.
The legendary producer, alongside his longtime friend and business partner Jimmy Iovine, recently sold their Beats imprint to Apple for an unprecedented $3.2 billion and both took executive roles with the company.
Serious buyers can consult with Redfin for an opportunity to view the Sunset Strip/Hollywood Hills West property in person. Everyone else, hit the gallery below to see the pictures so you can daydream.
