Fridays are a time for celebrating if you’re anything like us. And each week we provide a soundtrack for your (hopefully) post-work festivities via The Wrap Up: Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Songs Of The Week.
This list is a lot less balanced than prior editions, which have included everything from nostalgic boom-bap tunes to trap anthems. Unfortunately, the Internets received a lack of proper energetic club records this week. However, there’s still ample records that warrant multiple spins in the fold.
You’ll find releases from a few legends and some newcomers to boot. Many of the cuts are conceptual, while others are better suited for playing while cruising the town in your whip.
Find it all in the gallery after the jump. Let us know what we missed in the comments.

10. Bill ft. Mac Miller & Ab-Soul – “Camp Fire”
Producer: Mac Miller
This rapper may want to consider a name change, but these realizations come with time. Nevertheless, this track is a good introduction for those unaware of who he is.
9. Mobb Deep – “The Outcome”
The game sorely lacks a proper volume of street tracks. Needless to say that M-O-B-B still have us covered.
8. J Dilla – “Give Em What They Want”
Producer: J Dilla
Posthumous Dilla releases are bittersweet, because they’re a reminder of an incomparable talent that Hip-Hop lost way too soon.
7. Asher Roth ft. Major Myjah – “Last Of The Flohicans”
Producer: Blended Babies
We’re not mad at the last few releases from this former XXL Freshman. His Retrohash album is shaping up to be dope.
6. Young Thug – “Chicken”
Producer: London on the Track
Say what you want about this eccentric Atlanta rapper, but right now, his sh*t talk is pure Bolivian flake.
5. Logic – “While You Wait”
Producer: Swiff D
The Def Jam rapper is developing right in front of our eyes. Over a soul sample and what sounds like a live bass line, Logic gives fans a life update in lyrical form.
4. 50 Cent – “Hustler”
Producer: Jake One
50 was one of the first superstar MCs to embrace producer Jake One. Years later, that relationship brought fans a heater in this track.
3. Pharrell – “Here”
Producer: Hans Zimmer & Pharrell
Yea, we know that this isn’t a rap song, but it’s damn good and frankly, there wasn’t a better choice. Anyway, sit back and enjoy Skateboard P’s second consecutive year of flourish.
2. Pharoahe Monch ft. Talib Kweli – “D.R.E.A.M.”
Producer: Lee Stone
The former Rawkus MCs united in the spirit of a great message. How can you be mad at that?
1. Future ft. André 3000 – “Benz Friendz (Watchutola)”
Producer: Mr. DJ & Organized Noize
The top selection is bar none this cut from Fewcha’s Honest LP. And no, it isn’t just because of Three Stacks.
