Russell Simmons has experienced much in his 30 year plus career as Rap’s first mogul. Rush stopped by Power 105 FM to discuss his new book and much more with The Breakfast Club.
As buttoned up as America perceives him to be, Simmons is still very much that dude from the streets of Hollis, Queens. His transparency allows for great conversation to flow and this almost 60 minute sit-down was no different.
Russ, DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God discuss his new meditation book, Success Through Stillness, how he keeps younger women on his arm, the state of Def Jam Records now and a host of other topics.
So we present the 9 things we learned from The Breakfast Club Russell Simmons interview. The Kanye West discussion was our favorite, let us know what is yours in the comment section.
