It is no secret that Dr. Dre has the golden touch. On his 49th birthday we look back at all the recording artists he has turned into superstars (think: household name).
While Dre is now more associated for his business acumen regarding his widely successful Beats By Dre electronics hardware company, he is still a music titan. Since his early N.W.A. days the good doctor has proved to know what Hip-Hop wants.
Now with almost 30 years in the music business we look back at all those who Dr. Dre has taken from raw talent to Rap royalty.

The D.O.C.
Entirely produced by Dr. Dre, the classic debut No One Can Do It Better established The D.O.C. as more than an associate of N.W.A. Unfortunately he suffered a tragic car accident where his larynx was crushed that sidelined his very promising career.
Xzibit
Even though Mr. X to the Z was earning his stripes in the L.A. underground scene, it was Dr. Dre’s 2001 album that propelled Xzibit to superstar status.
The Game
Dr. Dre took The Game off the Interscope Records shelf and paired him with 50 Cent. The result was his debut classic The Documentary.
50 Cent
When 50 Cent was the hottest thing on the streets in 2002, Dr. Dre and Eminen scooped up the Queens Native and crafted a masterpiece with Get Rich Or Die Tryin’.
Eminem
Dr. Dre introduced the world to one of the most prolific lyricists in history (to the mainstream) after he signed Eminem.
Snoop Dogg
A faithful introduction from Warren G. would pair Dr. Dre with his brightest protege Snoop Doggy Dogg. We only hope they can find that original chemistry on upcoming music.
Kendrick Lamar
His latest find Kendrick Lamar is now the new face of Rap regardless of his recent GRAMMY Award snub. Yes, TDE set the stage, but good kid carries an Aftermath logo.
Warren G.
With his production contribution to The Chronic and stepbrother relationship to Dr. Dre, it was only a matter of time before Warren G. carved out his own lane with his triple platinum debut Regulate… G Funk Era.
