A love triangle and daddy issues keep getting in Olvia Pope’s way, but the queen of wool coats is keeping it moving. On last night’s (Oct. 24) Scandal episode — aptly titled “Say Hello To My Little Friend” — Pope and her handy group of fast-talking concubines represent a married Senator with a penchant for sexting his man junk to just about any woman in America—so long as it’s not his wife.
Sounds familiar? It’s (based on) Anthony Weiner.
The Weiner-esque politician, Sen. Myers, is on trial for murdering his side work (sh-t happens). The trial opened the door to a troth of other jumpoffs, one of whom he asked to “squeeze ’em until they hit you in the face.”
Pure class.
Myers’ wife stands by his philandering until she has a breakdown on the witness stand and tells the court that she doesn’t love him anymore. Unfortunately, it didn’t work because Sen. Myers is found guilty of a murder he didn’t commit.

It was actually the wife (above), who just happens to be a lawyer. She got off, he got locked up, and Olivia made it home in time for wine. But once she gets inside the confines of her dimly lit abode, Jake is there with a confession on the illusive “Operation Remington,” and to warn her about her crazy father.
Turns out “Operations Remington” was a top-secret mission to rescue a now murdered soldier in an airplane flown by her main piece, President Grant, but Olivia would rather pretend she knows nothing.
Liv’s side jumpoff Jake made it clear that her pops aka “Command” routinely beat his @ss for kicks and would no doubt kill her if need be. No reason not to believe him.
Meanwhile, Mellie (aka the First Lady of Struggle) can’t keep her mouth closed when a mic is still on and accidentally slanders President Grant’s “trailer trash,” fried twinkie-loving rival, Democratic Congresswoman Josephine Marcus. She later apologizes, but of course the damage is already done.
Nice job Mellie.
David Rosen was back in court. See that look of struggle on his face? Of course he took another L. smh.
Also, Quinn won’t stop following Huck. He’s killing people again, and he doesn’t wanna’ talk about it.
Which leads right into Fritz and his posse rolling up on “Command.” But does he know that’s Olivia’s dad or nah?
