Two would be robbers had the tables turned on them and caught a vicious beating from their intended targets, a pair of college students. It all went down on August 27 in Charlotteville, VA, home of the University of Virginia.
Reports WAVY News (seriously):
Two attempted armed robbery suspects were badly beaten by the victims they targeted in Charlottesville, according to police.
WAVY News’ NBC sister station, NBC 29, is reporting the incident occurred Tuesday night. Police say Johnny Calderon, Jr., 19, and Gerald Allen, 18, of Charlottesville tried to rob two University of Virginia students.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the suspects with severe injuries. Police say they were beaten by the victims and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Both were charged with two counts of attempted robbery. Calderon was also charged with pointing a firearm and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
By the looks of their photos, the victims got blessed with the proper fades. [Full Disclosure: The writer of this story is a UVA alum…Wahoowa…and find this incredibly hilarious.] Since a gun was involved, and if this incident really went down as reported, the students turned justice deliverers are fortunate things didn’t go the other way.
Check out photos of Calderon and Allen, and their bruised faces, in the gallery.
