Frank Ocean hit his fans with the massive pump fake last week. The Odd Future crooner’s new album, Boys Don’t Cry, was supposed to drop last Friday—but a full week later and it’s still AWOL.
Some Twitter stats confirm that thanks to Ocean hitting y’all with the jig, the sadness was real.
Per Twitter, the “Novacane” singer got a gang of attention with 1.8M tweets mentioning his name between Sunday, July 31 and Sunday, August 7. 800,000 of those mentions came on the faux-release day of the now mythical album.
Peep some of the most RT’d reactions to Frank Ocean’s elite level trolling below and on the flip.
