Biggie sold half of his publishing royalties to Puff for $250,000 in 1995. Depending on your perspective, this is B.I.G. being an uneducated consumer, or Puff essentially being a predatory lender.

When baby mama number one was in danger of having her New York house foreclosed on, Diddy fought back in court…just not on her behalf. While Combs took out the initial mortgage (presumably on Hylton-Brim’s behalf) he asked to be dismissed from the foreclosure suit, basically saying, “Y’all handle that.”
