What’s beef? A good pull quote. Sometimes it’s best to be politically correct or issue a simple “no comment” when asked about someone you don’t like.
But these 15 celebs who slandered rivals in interviews were rather fond of their Fifth Amendment rights and gave zero F’s about starting or perpetuating a beef when the microphone was in front of their face.

A$AP Rocky – Rita Ora
Pretty Flacko says Rita Ora blew up his spot, accused her of spitting his kids out in a rhyme, and also backed up the slander in a subsequent interview with Sway Calloway.
Kid Rock – Beyonce
It’s possible Kid Rock is one of the few people to survive a pre-emptive Beyhive attack. In a February interview with Rolling Stone, Kid Rock cited what he called Beyonce’s lack of a signature hit and said she “didn’t do much” for him. The Beyhive stung him a few times, but he seemingly shrugged it off and kept it moving.
Amber Rose – Khloe Kardashian
By all accounts, Khloe is the most likeable Kardashian. But she barked up the wrong tree when she tried to defend Kim and that Amber Rose-shaped tree fell on her. Nothing like reminding the world your sister took a protein shake from Ray J to calm down all that side chatter.
Damon Dash – Jay Z
Jigga and Dame aren’t exactly best buds anymore, and Dame didn’t really help things by essentially calling Jay Z a snitch based off of a New York Daily News article.
Fabolous – Ray J
‘Loso said what most of us were thinking after seeing Ray J serenade Floyd Mayweather with a very pause-worthy piano number. Unfortunately, those words came back to bite him when the two ended up coming to blows.
Bette Midler – Ariana Grande
After decades in Hollywood, Bette Midler speaks with that kind of IDGAF tone that can only explain her calling Arana Grande a thirsty slore. Midler later apologized, but the shade had already been thrown.
Floyd Mayweather – Tameka “Tiny” Cottle
With friends like Money Mayweather, who needs enemies? It wasn’t an interview, but Floyd had to know someone had their camera rolling when he told a crowd of folks he smashed Tiny’s cakes and there was nothing Tip could do about it. He later apologized, but not before a fake fight with T.I. over disrespecting his woman.
Erica Mena – Cyn Santana
While they threw serious shade at each other on Twitter, Santana kept things pretty P.C. in a February, 2015 interview with VH1 interview. Santana hinted at Mena getting her creep on and “acting like she was single” during their relationship.
Jared Dudley – Kobe Bryant
Milwaukee Bucks swingman Jared Dudley probably has a promising post-NBA career in media. When he told an interviewer nobody wants to play with Carmelo Anthony or Kobe Bryant he seemingly put his current career in jeopardy and began trending for all the wrong reasons.
Chelsea Handler – Piers Morgan
Leave it up to Chelsea Handler to diss someone while they’re interviewing her. In the middle of an uncomfortable CNN profile, Handler called Morgan’s show “nonsense” and told him he was a terrible interviewer.
50 Cent – Game
When it’s time to promote an album, Fif will let the beef cook in order to draw some attention. Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Rick Ross, Game, and even fellow G-Unit members have all felt the wrath.
Rosie O’Donnell – Donald Trump
The hate between Rosie and The Donald is real. O’Donnell has called Trump a “snake-oil salesman” and “Lord Voldemort,” while Trump has called her fat, crude, and a loser.
Chelsea Handler – Angelina Jolie
Just because Handler was the one conducting the interview doesn’t mean she couldn’t bring the slander in full force. Given her friendship with Jennifer Anniston, it was only a matter of time before Handler exploded and called Jolie a “demon,” “a homewrecker” and a C-U-Next-Tuesday.
K. Michelle – Elle Varner
It’s so bad between these two that K. Michelle doesn’t mention Elle Varner by name. According to K. Michelle, Varner stole a song that was demoed and originally intended for her.
Draymond Green – Dahntay Jones
Notorious Clippers bench warmer Dahntay Jones caught the NBA version of some side eye when Draymond Green shut down his tough guy attempts with a quick pull quote in March, saying, “I think he wanted a reaction from me, but he don’t play.”
