Either you think Dame Dash is an arrogant douchebag, or you consider him a misunderstood creative—no in between. Both of these aspects of the Harlem native were on display when he visited The Breakfast Club, which was informative but at times confrontational.

Says Charlamagne:

Dame Dash stops by “The Breakfast Club” to have a conversation which turned into an argument after Dame Dash says he doesn’t want to answer any Jay Z questions, says that people who work 9 to 5’s have no pride in themselves, says calling a man your boss is like calling them your daddy, says he didn’t want Jay Z to reply to Nas’s “SuperUgly” says that was the start of the demise of Roc A Fella, Murda Mook is with Dame and speaks on Drake trying to battle him two weeks ago in Toronto, says he never took a check from Def Jam, has issues with Spike Lee, and so much more!!!

Peep the 15 things we learned during Dame Dash’s visit to The Breakfast Club on the following pages.

Dame Dash quickly got pissed when Envy asked him how he met Hova. No more Jay Z questions, please.

Murder Mook and Dame got the same OG, Daniel. It’s the common ground that led to them linking up.

The Bad Guy. Still feeling a ways because of the “Why do you keep asking about Jay Z” moment, Dame went on a tangent about keeping more women around because there are more trustworthy.

“Men don’t listen to social media.” Dame Dash said he has always been honorable in business.

Don’t call Dame Dash a mogul, he prefers to be called a “tycoon.”

Dash got very pissed when Charlamagne said he got checks from Def Jam. According to Dash, Roc-a-fella and Def Jam were partners, so he never worked for Def Jam. Get it? He never worked for Def Jam.

DJ Envy vs. Dash got more heated, with the latter saying Envy was selfish because he can call another man a boss. Also, Dame’s son Boogie has his own restaurant and sells cookies, because he refuses to have a boss.

Culture vultures still get no love. “There’s always some white man in charge of Black people,” said Dash in reference to Lyor Cohen and Joie Manda.

Dash accused The Breakfast Club about focusing on gossip. However, he admitted that he never listens to the show.

Dame Dash said Spike Lee refuses to take a meeting with him because he said he’s “arrogant.” Dash admitted that it hurts his feeling because he was just reaching out for a convo and help.

OG Daniel pointed out that all the people whose careers Dash helped springboard gotta mean something. True.

Big L was going to sign to Roc-a-fella. Jay Z and Big L went rap for rap on 139th St in Harlem, and it was a tie.

Punching a man in the face for owing him money was marketing, so no one else would dare owe him money. Fair enough. But he won’t do that type of thing anymore.

Dame is working with Kanye West again, but it staying woke because trusts no other man.

9 to 5? “Calling another man boss is calling another man Daddy,” says Dame, who swears he never had a boss. He just doesn’t understand why would you bother having one instead of being your own boss. Yeah, that’s tough to figure out.
