Anthony Mackie caught the digital fade on Tuesday (Jan. 20) after he linked the wearing of the dreadlocks hairstyle with criminal activity. We couldn’t let The Falcon fly off into the corny brother sunset without mentioning a handful of Black celebrities and entertainers who wear dreadlocks without rap sheets to boot.
While Mackie thinks good, law-abiding Black folks shouldn’t wear their hair in a style that has nothing to do with crime whatsoever, we’ll do the actor a favor and destroy the foolish notion easily.
