10. Fashawn – “Never Waiting In Vein”
Producer: The Alchemist
Fashawn and Alan The Chemist dropped a collaborative project earlier this week. This, my friends, is the closing track.
9. Gunplay ft. Rick Ross – “Scuffed Timbs”
Producer: Timbaland
Don Logan has been rather quiet in recent months. Let’s hope this track indicates that Living Legend will finally release in 2015.
8. Wu-Block (Ghostface Killah & Sheek Louch) – “Wu Block Biznez”
Producer: N/A
Ghostface and Sheek Luciano reconnected, and will deliver the Hidden Gems album next year. Yes, we have time for that.
7. PRhyme – “PRhyme Time”
Producer: DJ Premier
PRhyme, a combination of DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9″, delivered this freebie cut to coincide with their upcoming collab with FILA. Let’s hope there’s more to come.
6. OG Maco – “Get Down”
Producer: Chuck Inglish
Maco released a trio of uplifting tunes on his BREATE EP, including the intro above.
5. OB O’Brien ft. Drake & P. Reign – “Schemin’ Up”
Producer: N/A
The Toronto rap trio’s details of tomfoolery make for a damn fun record.
4. Wale – “Miracle On U Street”
Producer: Tone P & That Boy Good
Folarin rhyming over Go-Go music, that’s a scary sight.
3. Nicki Minaj – “Want Some More”
Producer: Metro Boomin & Zaytoven
When Nicki raps, it’s an all out murder scene. I mean that in the best way possible.
2. Lupe Fiasco ft. Nikki Jean – “Madonna”
Producer: DJ Dahi
Early leaks infer that Lu’s forthcoming Tetsuo & Youth album could be be a pretty solid record.
1. Kendrick Lamar – “Untitled”
Producer: N/A
Not much is known about K. Dot’s upcoming sophomore LP, but it’s clear that he’s speaking to something higher than your average rapper.
