While Sisqo hasn’t been in the mainstream for sometime, his name keeps popping up on other people’s interviews. The Dru Hill crooner visited The Breakfast Club to clear up rumors and more.

1. Difficult
One rumor that followed Sisqo was that he was a bit of diva to work with. He denied those accusations saying he always tried to put on his friends and family first and that was a conflict when you consider the industry standard of always working with someone who is hot.
2. Thong
Sisqo admitted that the “Thong Song” was a gift and a curse. He said that the song was so big he felt the industry blackballed him because they wanted him out of the public eye.
3. Mya
Sisqo and Mya were not romantically involved. He just wrote her first two singles and to make the songs bigger, he played it off like they were flirting in the videos.
4. Remix
He never wanted to do a remix for “Thong Song” as it was a favor to Def Jam to include Foxy Brown in it.
5. The Fight
Sisqo said that the footage of him and Kyle of Jagged Edge going at it was more of a drunk tussle after a show. They have no ill feelings against each other now.
6. R&B Battle
While him and K-Ci did have a brief back and forth at a show, Sisqo gave the Jodeci singer his props as one of the best male singers of all time.
7. Break Ups To Make Ups
The infamous footage of the group breaking up live on air was not staged. Woody saw that the group no longer needed him and he gave his formal resignation while on air.
8. Style
Sisqo thinks that he was ahead of his time with coloring his hair, the cut off vests and leather pants which are so popular now.
